Anna Twardon is a graduate of Jagiellonian University in Krakow - M. A. Clinical Psychology -  and the New York University  -  LMSW. She completed three years of postgraduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Institute for Training and Psychotherapy "Laboratorium" in Warsaw, Poland - a member of  EAP - European Association for Psychotherapy and  European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy .

She is licensed to practice in New York State and specializes in  psychotherapy of anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse,  PTSD, stress of immigration, problems of bilingualism and in psychology of women. She works with individuals, couples and families, both in English and Polish . She has been practicing Iyengar Yoga since 1992 and integrates selected yoga techniques with psychotherapy in her clinical work with patients. She worked for several years as a manager and business psychologist for multinational companies in Europe, including Finlandia Ballantine’s Group and Cadbury Schweppes.
